Whitespace, the fully digital e-trading platform for brokers and insurers, today announces that video calling and instant messaging between brokers and underwriters is now available within the platform.
With 120 customers trading on the platform across the globe, the team at Whitespace is working hard to offer them the best possible experience and all the capabilities they require. This release follows the addition of vertical placement capability on the platform in mid-September.
Whitespace Head of Customer Experience, Jody Wilkinson, said: “Whitespace has always stressed the importance of the best customer experience. We know many customers are missing the face to face element in the current environment and so we have responded to demand by creating this unique and easy to use enhancement. By building its own capability rather than integrating an off the shelf provider, Whitespace has enabled immediate chat and video calling without the need to leave the platform. It avoids the need to make a choice between the different video technologies that are in use and provides Whitespace with full control over the technology to enable further enhancements in future.
