We are looking for a part time HR manager (approx. 2 days a week)

Our benefits package includes a competitive salary, pension, FTE 25 days holiday (rising by one a year to 30) plus bank holidays, private health care contribution, performance-related bonus and flexible working.

We are an organisation of just over 20 people with a warm and friendly environment where everyone contributes and supports each other.

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Support current and future business needs through team development, engagement, motivation and retention
  • Manage the recruitment, selection and on-boarding process at all levels 
  • Develop, implement and monitor HR strategies, systems and procedures across the organisation  
  • Payroll and salary reporting including bonuses and commissions  
  • Pension administration and monthly payments  
  • Administration of Death in Service scheme, life cover, key man cover etc 
  • Primary contact with pensions’ broker 
  • Timesheet analysis and reporting 
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues 
  • Nurture a positive working environment and the company culture as a whole 
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system  
  • Maintain benefits programme 
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programmes 
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management and liaison with external consultants  
  • Other ad hoc support to the team 
  • Senior member of the CSR committee to support and participate in internal and external events and fund-raising opportunities  

Your experience 

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a senior HR role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to listen, communicate effectively with a high level of social awareness and a sense of empathy 
  • Conflict resolution 
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality 
  • Team building  
  • Strong administrative skills 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office365 and SharePoint 
  • Experience of QuickBooks online 

Further information  

Hours: c.17 per week

The role is based at our office in London, EC3 with some flexibility possible.

Salary: £50-£60k FTE dependent upon experience

We are looking for an account manager to join the team.

Your core objectives will include developing your knowledge of clients’ PR and wider business objectives, evaluating clients’ planned PR objectives strategically on a weekly basis, and tactically on a daily basis and working with the account team to ensure the client contract and communications objectives are met.

Hours: 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
