Pioneer Underwriters (“Pioneer”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Bishop as an Underwriter in its Renewable Energy team. He is based in London and reports to Warren Diogo, Head of Renewable Energy at Pioneer.
Sam brings ten years’ industry experience to Pioneer. He joins Pioneer from HDI Global Specialty SE where he was an underwriting manager responsible for the Operational Power portfolio, underwriting global operational power accounts. Prior to this, he was an underwriting associate in the technical risks department for STARR Underwriting Agents Limited. He holds a Master’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Leicester and is ACII Qualified.
