BMS Risk Solutions, the rapidly expanding New Zealand speciality risk advisor and insurance broker, today announces the appointment of Nathan Richmond as director BMS Auckland, effective 1st May 2024. Richmond will report to the BMS Board.
Richmond joins BMS having held various global roles over a 20+ year period at Marsh most recently as global head of product innovation. In his previous roles Richmond was instrumental in improving client and market solutions, formulating and executing growth strategies and structuring and placing large insurance programmes in NZ and international insurance markets.
A senior insurance professional with a proven track record of building and driving high-performance teams with a focus on delivering superior client service, Richmond joins BMS as it looks to expand its North Island client base and market presence following its capture of corporate business and institutional market attention since establishing in October 2021.
As BMS Auckland director, Richmond will direct BMS’ North Island continued expansion in collaboration with our Christchurch and Dunedin operations, while contributing to the group’s strategic goals. Richmond will manage the Auckland operational team.
