mea Platform Announces New AI Products to Replace Core Insurance Industry Workflows 150 150 Haggie Partners

The mea Operations suite delivers insurance specific agentic AI and pre-built agents to impact combined ratios and profit margins.

mea Platform today announced the launch of mea Operations, a suite of insurance-specific agentic AI products designed to unlock the massive value trapped inside (re)insurance operating expense. Having already enabled clients to transform underwriting performance with AI that ingests, interprets, and accelerate decisions across $200+ billion in GWP and 20+ countries, mea is taking the next step, expanding its proven platform across industry workflows.

Operating costs consume up to 14 points of every combined ratio for carriers and nearly half of total expenses for brokers — roughly $2 trillion globally each year. mea Operations tackles this head-on, enabling up to a 50 percent reduction in operating cost, thereby directly benefiting combined ratios and profitability.

The mea Operations suite expands mea’s proven Intelligent Underwriting products, which already help underwriters write more than 40 percent additional in-appetite business with no extra effort. Developed in response to client demand, mea Operations can replace core (re)insurance company and broker workflows from pre-bind underwriting and claims processing into all major operations cost centers, including post bind, policy issuance, settlement and finance services.

The mea Operations product package includes:

• Underwriting Operations – Automates intake, clearance, triage, rating and insights, quote-to-bind, endorsements and renewals, enables issuance fast, freeing underwriters to focus on risk and growth.
• Claims Operations – Automates every step from first notice to settlement, cutting cycle times, leakage, and friction while improving customer satisfaction.
• Finance Operations – Automates premium booking, commission and reinsurance entries, and reconciliations for faster closes and greater control.
• Broking Operations — Automates enquiry intake, exposure modelling, market submissions and supports digital placement – enabling targeted capacity matching and faster quotes leading to higher conversion ratios.

mea Operations runs on the company’s Insurance Knowledge Graph, a modular platform that works with both mea’s AI and public LLMs. Clients can keep the tools and systems they have while gaining a unified layer of insurance intelligence that delivers real results.

“mea Operations delivers the ability to finally use AI products to re-engineer how (re)insurance carriers and brokers think about their operating costs and unlock an entirely new form of value creation,” said Martin Henley, CEO of mea Platform. “We’ve already seen the impact with our clients, and we know they want to do more with what we’ve built. Exapnding into all aspects of industry workflows has been our planned next step and we’re exctied to see the results. No other tool offers this level of insurance knowledge or the ability to automate nearly any manual process.”

“The ultimate benefit of this industry AI transformation is to the consumer and lower cost insurance products,” said Mike McGavick, Non-Executive Board Chairman of mea Platform. “But to make that happen, the industry must finally harness the data locked inside systems, and that’s exactly what mea enables. What Martin and the team are launching with mea Operations is how the promise of AI becomes real for our industry.”

Leading carriers including The Hartford, Markel, AXIS, CNA, and SCOR are already using mea to transform their operations. Early adopters report faster decision cycles, reduced handling times, and improved ratios that flow directly to the bottom line.

Selecting the right AI partner has become one of the hardest decisions insurers face. The market is crowded with claims of “transformation,” yet most solutions demand costly rebuilds, many months of AI training with no guaranteed outcomes, or endless integration work. mea stands apart because its AI is purpose-built for insurance, with pre-trained agents that tie directly into clients’ existing workflows. Clients start generating value immediately, without replacing their existing systems or “rebuilding in AI.”

Insurance finally has its AI moment. mea is the company making it real.
