Gallagher Re, the global reinsurance broker, has appointed Jamie Costigan as a Senior Vice President in its North American Life Accident and Health Segment, effective immediately. Based in Jupiter, FL, Jamie will report to Rob Fast, Executive Vice President and Life Accident and Health Segment Leader at Gallagher Re.
Jamie will be responsible for setting and executing strategies to grow Gallagher Re’s North American health business. A highly regarded and accomplished reinsurance executive, Jamie brings more than 30 years’ experience in the healthcare sector to Gallagher Re. She joins from her most recent role as Senior Vice President at Alliant, where she helped lead its managed care practice, working closely with providers, health systems, captives and health plans to develop and place capital efficient reinsurance programs. Prior to Alliant, Jamie held senior roles at Beecher Carlson, Aon and the Michigan Health & Hospital Association.
Jamie has a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, is licensed in Life Accident & Health as well as Property and Casualty and holds both CIC and ARM designations.
