BMS Re, the independent reinsurance broker, today announces the appointment of Jennifer Nodes as managing director, U.S. deputy general counsel, effective 1 June.  Based in Minneapolis, Nodes will join the executive team and report to Pete Chandler, president and CEO of BMS Re 

Nodes formerly worked as a principal at Jackson Lewis P.C., where she regularly advised employers on management issues including best practice employment policies, employment agreements, performance management and separations, and compliance audits, and defended claims before administrative agencies and state and federal courts.  

She is a frequent speaker before business and employer associations, including the Society for Human Resource Management and Independent Community Bankers of America, and has travelled nationally to present on workplace law.
