Asta, the leading third-party managing agent at Lloyd’s, today announces the appointment of Stephen Redmond to the board of Asta Managing Agency, as independent non-executive director.
Redmond brings a wealth of experience to Asta: he joins from Antares/QIC Global where he served as active underwriter, managing director and most recently, chief transformation officer. He was instrumental in establishing Antares as an independent Lloyd’s underwriting business in 2008 and successfully led the formation of the Lloyd’s managing agency in 2010. Prior to the formation of Antares in 2007, Redmond held a number of senior underwriting roles.
