Apollo Syndicate Management (“Apollo”), the independent specialist insurer and reinsurer, today announced the appointment of Hayley Spink as group chief operating officer. Spink will join Apollo upon completion of current contractual obligations.
Spink has over 20 years’ management experience in the insurance and financial industry. Prior to joining Apollo, she was most recently interim head of operations at Lloyd’s, leading its business services and working strategy. Spink has also served in several senior positions within Lloyd’s since 2007, including head of global operations, director of Lloyd’s Brexit Programme and programme manager of Lloyd’s China Insurance Company. Between 2000 and 2007, she worked at HSBC, where she managed the operational strategies across various departments.
