ARTes Specialty, an MGA providing bespoke insurance solutions for niche and specialty risk portfolios, has expanded its product offering to cover all-risk plant & equipment and associated general liability and third-party property damage for all trades. This follows the success of the combined commercial loggers product launched in 2024.
The policy will feature a unique specialist wording, with local distribution throughout Australia in partnership with Mobius Insurance, and local claims adjusting and handling provided by ToPAz Claims Management. The policy is supported by capacity from a panel of Lloyd’s syndicates.
Features of the policy include:
- Material damage policy occurrence limit up to AUD$10m
- Third party property damage and general liability limits up to AUD$20m
- The product can cover all trades utilising plant and equipment and associated transportation; cover can be extended to dangerous goods
The product will be led by ARTes Specialty senior underwriter Amy Egglestone, who holds more than 10 years’ experience in the sector.
ARTes CEO Chris Thomas said: “The launch of this combined product supported by established Lloyd’s capacity marks a unique offering for the Australian market and represents the next step in ARTes’ expansion in the region. We are proud of our ability and track record in creating solutions to complex insurance problems.”
ARTes Specialty is an appointed representative of Asta, the leading third-party managing agent at Lloyd’s.
Mobius Insurance Director Tom Richards said: “We are delighted to partner with ARTes to bring this comprehensive plant and equipment solution to the Australian broker market. This product addresses a genuine need for combined cover in sectors where our broker partners have been seeking greater capacity and flexibility. Built by brokers, for brokers means we understand the importance of straightforward placement and responsive claims service.”
