Argenta is pleased to announce two key appointments, further strengthening the company’s leadership team. Alexandra Hayes joined Argenta at the start of January 2026, and Sweta Tzimopoulos will join later in 2026, with her start date to be confirmed.
Alexandra Hayes joins Argenta as Head of Group Strategy & Execution and Chief of Staff, reporting directly to Nick Moore, Chief Executive Officer. Alex will play a pivotal role in delivering Argenta Group’s priorities, working closely with the Senior Management Group (SMG) to ensure effective execution of the company’s strategic objectives.
Alex brings extensive experience in strategy, transformation and leadership within the insurance, financial services, and fintech sectors. Most recently, she served as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Direct Line Group, supporting the CEO and executive to deliver improved results and on Aviva’s successful bid to acquire the group. Prior to this, Alex served as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Lloyd’s, where she worked to deliver clarity, accountability, and momentum around the market’s five-year strategic plan. Alex began her professional career at JP Morgan, following her service as an officer in the British Army’s Royal Engineers.
Sweta Tzimopoulos has been appointed Chief Distribution Officer, also reporting directly to Nick Moore, Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Sweta will lead the Argenta’s distribution strategy, focusing on building deeper relationships with broker partners and identifying new channels to support growth.
Sweta brings nearly 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Argenta, she was Director of Distribution Strategy & Marketing, UK and Bermuda, and Executive Committee Member at Ascot Underwriting, where she established the distribution and marketing function. Sweta also chaired the UK and Bermuda D&I council and was recognised as a Women to Watch EMEA 2025 winner by Business Insurance. Sweta previously held senior roles in business development, strategy and change management at Liberty Specialty Markets, as well as transformation leadership positions at Aon, managing change programmes and M&A. Her earlier career includes roles in consultancy and banking.
These appointments reflect Argenta’s focus on strategic growth and leadership capability as the organisation continues to deliver on its future objectives. Nick Moore, CEO of Argenta, commented:
