Liberty Global Transaction Solutions (GTS), one of the largest global M&A insurance teams in the industry and part of Liberty Mutual Insurance, strengthens its Canada team with a series of key appointments. Jordan Villiers Kluckow has been promoted to Head of GTS, Canada and Maharshi Bhavsar and Adamo Fucile have been welcomed as an analyst and a senior underwriter respectively in the Toronto office.
Villiers Kluckow will continue to report to Hilary Weiss, Head of Americas, Liberty GTS, and Frederick Ling, Senior Vice President and Head of Specialty, Liberty Mutual Canada. Fucile and Bhavsar will report to Villiers Kluckow.
In his new role, Villiers Kluckow will be responsible for the oversight and management of GTS’ book of business in Canada, lead day-to-day client engagement for the market and drive growth initiatives across the country. He will also be responsible for developing the local team and ensuring Canadian activity aligns with GTS’ global priorities.
Villiers Kluckow has been instrumental in fine-tuning and expanding GTS’ presence in Canada, and his elevation formalizes that leadership as part of a broader regional push. His appointment strengthens GTS’ footprint in the Americas by providing dedicated, senior leadership for the Canadian market, supported by Fucile and Bhavsar.
Weiss commented: “We’re delighted to name Jordan as our new Head of Canada. His extensive knowledge of the M&A market, technical know-how, client experience and global perspective position him perfectly to take on this role.
“The continued growth of our Canadian office and the expansion of our M&A underwriting team, with their significant experience, further strengthens our market position, allowing us to better serve our clients who are navigating deals in the complex M&A market.”
Villiers Kluckow joined Liberty GTS in 2021 as a senior underwriter, focussing on leading tower deals with an emphasis on the Middle East and Africa. In 2024 he moved to GTS’ Canadian team. Prior to GTS, he was an associate at a leading M&A law firm.
